Blockheads serves hefty portions of healthy San Francisco-style Mexican for minimal pesos. Blockheads offers all of the traditional choices—quesadillas, burritos, tacos, and fajitas, but also utilizes interesting north-of-the-border ingredients and flavors to take your taste buds for a ride.
They steam all of the signature burritos to seal in the flavor of the healthy ingredients, and the chips are perfect—fresh, crisp, and light.
You can substitute whole-wheat tortillas, brown rice, and tofu sour cream to help cut calories and carbohydrates for no additional cost. Jamaican jerk chicken, Carolina BBQ, fresh spinach, and roasted mixed vegetables are just a few of the intriguing burrito fillings, but whatever your fancy may be, the food is big, fresh, and cheap. Blockheads is a wonderfully inventive alternative to the status quo Mexican.

My food took over an hour to come. Don't expect a quick delivery

I ordered a burrito, but it was overwhelmingly salty.

Blockheads states it serves "San Francisco style" burritos. While I understand a "style" is subjective, my experience as a former SF resident was that burritos typically came with everything inside the tortilla and could be held onto and eaten without a knife and fork - albeit messily. My suggestion to you if you're looking for a real SF-style burrito is to to tell them explicitely when ordering to put the lettuce, tomato, salsa (specify what kind), crema, beans (again, specify refried or black beans), rice (brown or white), guacamole, and main ingredient (veggies or protein) INSIDE the tortilla and to wrap it in such a way that both ends are closed. THAT would be a SF-style burrito! NOT what they (by default) serve.

I've had much better food overall from Blockheads' Upper East Side restaurants-

I ordered Guacamole& Chip and a Chicken Burrito($10.50)....which is a bit overpriced, but I have to say their food is better than average, and the portion is definitely bog enough to feed a hungry man. I took one star off as mentioned earlier-- bit pricey.

My super chicken burrito was indeed SUPER. I'm a big eater and let me tell you, I was quite thoroughly FULL when I was done. My only complaints/comments- the guac included in the currito had gigantic chunks of avocado rather than being smushy (not terrible; i like avocado) and their menu gives you no idea about the differences in their two salsa items. The bambino salso was good though. Would reccomend and eat from here again!

Good fresh food and quick delivery.

Honestly, just about the worst food I have ever had. Veggie burrito was almost all rice, bland, greasy; salsa was worse than supermarket style; guacamole was tasteless. Delivery was slow too. Wish I had spent $5 more for something much much better.

My food came very quickly (under 30 minutes) and it was pretty good. I got the sauteed spinach burrito, and the spinach was not too greasy. I would order again from here.

Pretty average, uninspired beef burrito. Cheese was conjealed and it was a bit of a mess since neither end of the burrito was sealed. Overall, a B-..

Extremely fast, granted I'm only a few blocks away, and very good food for the price.

Food was great. Delivery was fast. Lots and lots of food. Easily got 3 meals out of one order.

Blockheads makes a fine burrito. Fine but big. Too big for me, in fact. That's why I usually go with the Mini Burrito (which comes with a side salad). I also usually have a bunch of substitutions (no tomatoes, whole wheat tortilla, brown rice, etc) and they always honor them. Delivery is usually right on time.

Good food and fast delivery! Can't expect too much more from nachos being delivered (obviously the chips get soggy after a while.)

I think these are the brother burritos to Benny’s Burritos or something. They’re really good and really big, just like Benny’s. I have a SeamlessWeb favorite saved for their chicken burrito and the delivery is always on time.
